It’s about that time of the year again, you know, where I transform from quarterback sacking, Scruggnam Style dancing Scruggs, to ever so elegant 150mph club-head swinging Woods. I love hitting the range during the week, and getting a round in on the course when time allows. I don’t know if you relate, but there’s something so peaceful about being out on the links or at the range and thinking you hit the ball of your life only to realize you completely missed it — the peace comes in knowing that there is room for improvement. (Said no one ever). But, yet again, I swing away with aspirations of becoming the next ProAm to walk the sidewalk Tony Romo paved, hoping a $55 million dollar guaranteed contract will follow… but I digress.
What I’m really excited about is that I’m headed to the 2014 Masters at the Augusta National Golf Club! Russ Okung and I will be attending the Masters representing the Seahawks in 12’s fashion. While we are there we will be keeping you guys up-to-date with our expert analysis as well as pre and post-round thoughts. My preliminary analysis — Mickelson looks to chip well and Tiger looks to drive far. How am I doing? At any rate, I’m off to go check Biology HW and eat some Chipotle (no sour cream due to my diet), but it’s all good. I’m starving.
This is real. This is authentic. This is Me.
